Bedazzled Toilet

Toilet and Plumbing History

As early as 2500 BC the citizens of Harappa, India had water fed toilets in their homes. In Roman times, toilets were parts of the public bath houses.

Sir John Harington is given credit for inventing the flush toilet in 1596, but it wasn't until the Victoria era that they became widely used.
